The invention relates to a device for inductive welding of the thermoplastic jacket pipe of a district heating pipe with a sleeve made of thermoplastic material with a sleeve which can be placed around the sleeve support for a split induction coil and a plug-in coupling with two coupling parts at the two ends of the carrier for closing the electrical Head for the turns of the induction coil has.
To connect the individual shots of a district heating pipe, the steel pipes intended for the heat transfer medium must first be welded together before the heat-insulating steel pipes enclosing jacket pipes made of a thermoplastic material can be connected to one another via a thermoplastic connecting sleeve. For this purpose, it is known (WO 2007/128384 A2), insert a self-contained ring of a perforated plate between the sleeve and the thermoplastic pipes to be connected, in order then with the aid of an induction coil enclosing the sleeve in the region of the perforated metal sheet ring To induce eddy currents through which the perforated plate is heated with the result that the thermoplastic material of the sleeve and the jacket tubes to be joined is melted in the connection area, so that established by the perforated plate through an intimate weld between the sleeve and the jacket tubes. So that the induction coil can be placed in a simple manner around the sleeve, it is arranged in a carrier designed in the manner of a link chain, which has at its two ends the two coupling parts of a plug-in coupling for connecting the electrical conductors for the turns of the split induction coil. It therefore only needs the tab chain with the electrical conductors for the turns of the induction coil placed around the sleeve and the plug-in coupling to be closed in order to supply the induction coil via a corresponding frequency generator with the required voltage. The disadvantage, however, that the length of the link chain and thus the length of the turns of the induction coil depends on the respective outer diameter of the sleeve, which requires different link chains with corresponding turns of the induction coil for different sleeve diameter. Since district heating pipes are used in a wide nominal diameter range, the known devices of this kind are not practical for the induction welding of district heating pipe shots with changing nominal diameter.
The invention is therefore based on the object, a device for inductive welding a sleeve with the jacket pipe of a district heating pipe in such a way that a simple adaptation to different nominal diameter of the district heating pipes is possible without jeopardizing the secure welding of the sleeve with the jacket tube.
The invention solves this problem by the fact that the electrical conductors are embedded for the turns of the induction coil in a flexible carrier tape, which is guided loop-forming by at least one loop clamp.
By this measure, it is possible in a simple manner to adjust the effective circumferential length of the carrier tape to the circumferential length of the sleeve to be welded to the jacket tube, because yes, the excess length of the carrier tape is stored with respect to the respective sleeve in the clamped by the loop clamp belt loop. In the clamped carrier tape loop, the induced magnetic field due to the opposite directions of current in the opposite portions of the also loop-forming turns of the induction coil is essentially canceled, so that the losses caused by the loop formation can be kept small.
Particularly simple handling conditions arise when the carrier tape is slidably guided within the loop clamp, because in this case after a loose transfer of the carrier tape to be welded to the socket and after closing the plug by extending the clamped loop of the carrier tape a rich concern of the carrier tape can be achieved on the sleeve. It only needs the carrier tape in the region of the clamped loop to be attracted to a simultaneous pressing the loop clamp to the sleeve.
Although quite special designs for the carrier tape with the embedded electrical conductors for the turns of the induction coil are possible, particularly favorable construction conditions arise when the carrier tape with the embedded electrical wires for the turns of the induction coil as a ribbon cable with a number of turns of the induction coil corresponding minimum number of wires is trained. The ends of these wires must indeed be connected only via the coupling parts of the plug-in couplings in order to obtain the turns for the induction coil.
The arrangement of the electrical conductors for the turns of the induction coil in a carrier tape whose effective length can be adjusted by clamping a belt loop to the respective circumferential length of the sleeve to be welded, additionally brings with it the possibility, in the carrier tape a separate from the induction coil Meßwindung Provide detection of the induction voltage. A detection of the induction voltage over the temporal course of welding allows a conclusion on the temperature in the area provided between the sleeve and the jacket tube of a district heating pipe, metallic insert. The electrical resistance of these metallic inserts increases with increasing temperature, so that the induction voltage must be increased in order to provide a welding energy which is approximately constant over the temporal welding process. However, this change in the induction voltage is not linear. Due to a characteristic increase in the induction voltage at the end of the welding process, the welding process can thus be indirectly monitored. The additional Meßwindung in the carrier tape provides the necessary measurement signal, which can be used appropriately evaluated to control the welding process.
In the drawing, the subject invention is for example shown, namely a device according to the invention for inductive welding of the thermoplastic jacket tube of a district heating pipe with a sleeve made of thermoplastic material is shown in a schematic section perpendicular to the axis of the district heating pipe.
In order to be able to connect two shots of the district heating pipe which each consist of a steel pipe and a jacket pipe, not only the steel pipe sections must be welded together but also the jacket pipes 2 of these shots tightly over each other a sleeve 3 are connected. For this purpose, the thermoplastic jacket tube 2 is inductively welded to the sleeve 3 made of thermoplastic material. In order to induce eddy currents in the connecting region between the sleeve 3 and the jacket tube 2, a metallic insert, for example in the form of a closed mesh to a ring 4 is provided in the connecting region between the sleeve 3 and the jacket tube 2, so that the heat in this expanded metal induced eddy currents melts the sleeve 3 and the jacket tube 2 in the connection region, wherein the melt penetrates the expanded metal mesh 4 and ensures a high strength, tight connection between the jacket tube 2 and the sleeve 3 after solidification.
The induction coil required to induce the eddy currents in the expanded metal mesh 4 is placed around the sleeve 3 in the welding area. So that an adaptation to different sleeve diameters becomes possible, the device has a sleeve 3 which can be placed around the sleeve and made of a carrier tape 5, in which the electrical conductors of the windings for the induction coil are embedded. At the two ends of this carrier tape 5, two coupling parts 6, 7 of a plug-in coupling are arranged, with the aid of which the electrical conductors in the carrier strip 5 are closed to windings of the induction coil. In addition, the electrical connection of the induction coil via a coupling part 6 of the plug-in coupling 8 via a manually operable switching unit 9, the induction coil can be supplied via a high-frequency generator, not shown, with a corresponding voltage.
The carrier tape 5 has, in relation to the circumferential length of the sleeve 3, an excess length which can be stored in the form of at least one loop 10 clamped by the remaining carrier tape 5. To clamp these carrier tape loops 10 are loop clamps 11, which guide the carrier tape 5 slidably so that by tightening the loops 10 against the pressed against the sleeve 3 loop clamp 11, the loop 10 can be increased by applying the carrier tape 5 to the outer periphery of the sleeve 3 , Since in the region of the loops 10 two oppositely lying loop sections with opposite direction of current result, the induced magnetic field largely disappears, so that the loops remain low due to the loop formation. The voltage applied to the outer circumference of the sleeve 3, via the plug-in coupling 8 closed carrier tape 5 ensures a largely uniform spacing of the induction coil of the expanded metal 4 sure. By adjusting the effective circumferential length of the carrier tape 5 on the adjustable in length loops 10 thus advantageous induction conditions for the welding process can be adjusted.
